The Sea Is the Assigned Home of Lucifer/Satan/Demons
Revelation: The Sea Is the Assigned Home of Lucifer/Satan/Demons
What Is the Sea?
In The Beginning Before the Beginning, I introduced what God revealed to me concerning Lucifer’s rebellion, the spiritual battle, his defeat, and the separation that followed.
The next revelation God gave me concerns something mankind encounters every day but does not spiritually understand:
Water – and particularly the sea.
I know this revelation will challenge conventional understanding. But I am required to tell you what God revealed to me.
According to the revelation God gave me:
Water Is Spirit
And we must discern which spirit we are dealing with – holy or unholy.
Scripture repeatedly uses water in connection with the things of God. God is described as the fountain of living waters, and Jesus Christ speaks of living water. I ask you to examine passages including Jeremiah 17:13, John 4:10, and John 7:38 (KJV).
Jesus said:
“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
~ John 7:38 (KJV)
But God revealed to me that understanding living water also requires us to understand the other side of the spiritual reality of water.
Return to Genesis
Look again at the creation account:
“And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
~ Genesis 1:6 (KJV)
And then:
“And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.”
~ Genesis 1:9 (KJV)
God gathered the waters together.
Then Scripture tells us:
“And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas…”
~ Genesis 1:10 (KJV)
In the revelation God gave me, these passages connect directly to the spiritual battle described in The Beginning Before the Beginning.
I was shown that the waters gathered together under heaven represent the rebellious dark spirits that followed Lucifer.
God gathered them into one place.
That place became their habitation.
And the gathering of those waters was called:
Seas.
This is why I state in A Call From God for Change:
The sea as we know it is a bed of demonic spirits assigned there by God during the fall of Lucifer from Heaven.
That is a startling statement.
But rather than dismissing it because it is unfamiliar, I ask you to examine the Scriptures and ask God for understanding. The book develops this teaching from Genesis and follows the sea through Scripture.
God Established a Boundary
This revelation also taught me that God established a boundary for the sea.
Proverbs speaks of the time:
“When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment…”
~ Proverbs 8:29 (KJV)
This connects the revelation of the sea with something else we encountered in The Beginning Before the Beginning –Wisdom.
The same passage describes Wisdom as being with the LORD before the earth was created and when He established the heavens, the depths, and the sea.
That connection becomes important when we later examine what God revealed to me concerning the Holy Ghost.
These revelations are not isolated.
One begins to illuminate another.
Living Water and Dark Water
This is an important distinction in the revelation.
Not every biblical reference to water carries the same spiritual meaning.
Scripture presents living water in connection with God.
Jesus told the woman at the well that He could give her living water. He later spoke of rivers of living water flowing from the believer.
The revelation God gave me therefore requires spiritual discernment concerning water:
What is holy?
What is unholy?
What comes from God?
What does not?
This is one reason I repeatedly call people beyond natural understanding and into an intimate relationship with God. Spiritual things require spiritual discernment.
And There Was No More Sea
There is one Scripture that demands particular examination.
The Bible does not end with the sea remaining as we know it.
John writes:
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”
~ Revelation 21:1 (KJV)
Read that again:
“…and there was no more sea.”
Why?
Why, when John sees the new heaven and new earth, does Scripture specifically tell us that there is no more sea?
That question should not simply be passed over.
In the revelation God gave me, Revelation 21:1 is directly connected to what God established following Lucifer’s rebellion.
The book of Revelation contains numerous other references to the sea, including judgment involving the sea and ultimately the sea giving up its dead. I ask readers to examine those passages rather than looking at Revelation 21:1 in isolation.
And then comes the final declaration:
There was no more sea.
Examine the Revelation
I recognize that this teaching is unlike what many people have heard concerning the sea.
That is precisely why I am not asking you merely to repeat what I have said.
I am asking you to examine it.
Read Genesis 1:6–10.
Read Proverbs 8:22–33.
Examine the biblical references to living water.
Follow the references to the sea throughout Revelation.
And then arrive again at:
“…and there was no more sea.”
~ Revelation 21:1 (KJV)
Then take the question directly to God.
LORD, What Are You Showing Me?
Do not reject something merely because it is unfamiliar.
Do not accept something merely because I have said it.
Read.
Pray.
Seek God.
Ask Him for spiritual discernment.
And be willing to hear what He says.
