STOP BLAMING EVE

Revelation: STOP BLAMING EVE

Have We Misunderstood What Happened in the Garden?

For generations, Eve has been blamed for the entrance of sin and disobedience into the world.

God revealed something very different to me.

STOP BLAMING EVE.

If we truly believe that God is God Almighty, then we must begin by asking some important questions.

Did God know what the serpent was doing?

Did He know the serpent would approach Eve?

Could God have stopped what happened?

Could He have changed the outcome?

Of course He could.

According to what God revealed to me, what occurred in the Garden did not take God by surprise.

It was incorporated into His Master Plan.

Remember Who the Serpent Is

This revelation cannot be separated from what we have already examined concerning Lucifer and Satan.

Scripture says:

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world…”
~ Revelation 12:9 (KJV)

The serpent was not simply another participant in the Garden.

The serpent is identified with the Devil and Satan.

According to the revelation God gave me, the LORD knew exactly what the serpent was attempting to do.

God knew his motives.

God knew his strategy.

And God remained God Almighty throughout it all.

What Was Adam's Assignment?

God revealed to me that Adam had been given more of God’s strategic plan than Eve.

Adam was charged to stay by Eve’s side and watch over her.

He was not to leave her unprotected.

That changes the way I understand what happened when Eve had eaten the forbidden fruit and Adam was faced with his own decision.

According to what God revealed to me, Adam faced an agonizing choice.

If Eve were required to leave the Garden and Adam remained behind, she would be outside the Garden without the protector God had assigned to her.

Adam understood his assignment to remain with her.

Therefore, I explain in A Call From God for Change that Adam ate the fruit so that he could remain by Eve’s side as her protector -even though doing so meant leaving the Garden with her.

That is part of why I say:

STOP BLAMING EVE.

Eve Was Instrumental in God's Plan

The serpent did not outmaneuver God.

Evil did not destroy God’s purpose.

According to the revelation God gave me, the events in the Garden became part of a far greater strategic plan -one that ultimately established the foundation for the birth of Jesus Christ.

And Eve was instrumental in that plan.

This connects directly with the revelation we have already examined concerning Satan’s hatred of woman.

The serpent attempted harm.

God declared enmity between the serpent and woman.

But God would ultimately use what appeared weak to strike against evil.

Evil could not stop the plan of God.

Nothing Can Interfere With or Change the Plans of God.

Look Again at the Enmity

Genesis records God’s words to the serpent:

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed…”
~ Genesis 3:15 (KJV)

Do not pass over the fact that God specifically identifies the woman in this declaration.

According to what God revealed to me, the enmity between the serpent and woman is part of His Master Plan.

This is why the earlier revelation Woman Is Hated by Satan matters.

It is also why understanding the Holy Ghost matters.

These revelations are connected.

God Is Strongest When We Are Weak

One of the truths I express in A Call From God for Change is:

The weaker we are, the stronger God is.

What appears weak to the world does not limit God.

Woman should not look at herself as insignificant merely because the world has treated her as weak.

According to the revelation God gave me, God intended to use what appeared to be the weaker part of His creation against the works of evil.

Eve therefore should not simply be remembered as the woman upon whom mankind places blame.

She was instrumental in God’s Master Plan.

Look at Adam Differently Too

This revelation does not simply require us to reconsider Eve.

It also requires us to reconsider Adam.

According to what God revealed to me, Adam’s role was one of obedience, responsibility, protection and trust in God.

His assignment concerning Eve was serious.

He was her protector.

And this understanding becomes essential to the next revelation, because God’s purpose for Adam and Eve leads directly into something God showed me about the structure of the family.

The question is no longer merely:

What happened in the Garden?

We must also ask:

What Order Did God Establish?

Examine Before You Reject

I know this understanding of Adam and Eve differs sharply from what many Christians have been taught.

So once again, I am not asking you simply to accept something because I have said it.

Read Genesis 2 and 3.

Read Revelation 12:9.

Examine what Scripture says about the serpent.

Examine what God says about the woman.

Examine the enmity God established between them.

Then take what I have presented to God.

Ask Him:

LORD, What Really Happened in the Garden?

Do not allow tradition alone to answer the question.

Read.

Pray.

Seek God.

Listen.

And be willing to allow Him to change what you thought you understood.

STOP BLAMING EVE.
