Revelation: God's Order of the Family
Did God Establish an Order for the Family?
The revelation STOP BLAMING EVE leads directly into another truth God revealed to me:
The Family Has an Order Established by God.
The family structure is not insignificant to God.
It is part of His plan.
According to what God revealed to me, each person within that structure has a God-given place and responsibility.
And when that order is followed, it provides love, spiritual direction and protection for the woman and child.
God Is the Head
The order begins with the LORD God Almighty.
He is the Master of all creation.
Jesus Christ is the only living Son of God, but is also God.
And Jesus Christ is the Head of man.
The structure therefore does not begin with man ruling independently.
It Begins With God.
Man cannot properly fulfill his assignment apart from God.
The strength and wisdom required to carry out his responsibility are God-given. My book describes man as the family’s “caretaker and protector.”
That position is therefore not permission for domination.
It is a responsibility before God.
Adam Was Given an Assignment
This is why the revelation concerning Adam and Eve matters.
According to what God revealed to me, Adam was charged with the spiritual and physical well-being of Eve.
He was to remain with her.
Protect her.
And obey God concerning the responsibility entrusted to him.
I explain in A Call From God for Change that Adam loved the LORD. When faced with the situation in the Garden, his responsibility to obey God’s Perfect Will mattered more than his own desires.
He trusted God even when what he was required to do defied ordinary human understanding.
That is an important lesson about obedience:
God’s Instructions Do Not Always Agree With Human Reasoning.
But obedience requires trusting God above our own understanding.
What About Woman?
God also showed me something important about being called Woman.
Woman should not fear being regarded by the world as weaker.
Eve was not formed from the dust of the ground in the same manner as Adam. Scripture says:
“And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.”
~ Genesis 2:22 (KJV)
According to what God taught me, woman was made to be a powerful instrument of His love.
She was to rely upon God and carry intimacy with Him into the family.
In my teaching, man and woman therefore do not exist as enemies competing for authority.
They have responsibilities within an order established by God.
Man Is Charged to Protect - Not Destroy
The New Testament gives us an important picture of a husband’s responsibility:
“So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.”
~ Ephesians 5:28 (KJV)
And:
“For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:”
~ Ephesians 5:29 (KJV)
This is not an instruction to abuse woman.
It is an instruction to love, nourish and cherish.
According to what God revealed to me, man was charged with the physical well-being of woman.
But Satan seeks to destroy that order.
Satan's Re-Ordering of the Family
God showed me that Satan works progressively against the family structure established by God.
The destruction does not end with man or woman.
Ultimately:
Satan Wants the Child.
That is why the progression matters.
Phase 1 - Separate Man From Jesus
The first attack is against man’s relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jesus calls man to trust Him and follow His direction.
According to what God revealed to me, Jesus provides man with the Wisdom of God necessary to fulfill his responsibility.
But Satan presents alternatives.
He tempts man away from God’s order and shows him ways to harm rather than protect the woman and child.
When man rebels against Jesus, the protective structure begins to break.
The first separation therefore is critical:
Man is separated from the Headship and direction of Jesus Christ.
Phase 2 - Destroy Woman
Once the order has been disrupted, the attack moves further.
According to the revelation God gave me, Satan works to destroy woman, whom my book describes as beloved of God and the offspring of the Holy Ghost.
Man can be tempted by riches, fame and independence from God.
Woman can then be persuaded that she does not need God.
The result is not freedom.
It is further separation from God’s intended protection and order.
And once man and woman have been displaced from the positions God established, someone else becomes increasingly exposed:
The Child.
Phase 3 - Leave the Child Without Defenses
This is the ultimate objective described in my book.
When God’s family order has been dismantled, the child stands alone and without defenses.
Why would Satan seek this?
Because the conflict did not begin with the modern family.
It reaches back to the spiritual battle we have already examined.
It reaches back to woman.
And it reaches forward to the child.
According to what God revealed to me, Satan knows that woman and child will again deliver a devastating blow against him.
He does not know how or when.
Therefore, he works endlessly against both.
This is why God’s Order of the Family cannot be viewed merely as a social arrangement.
There Is a Spiritual Battle Surrounding the Family.
God's Order Is About Responsibility
It would be easy to read this revelation and reduce it to an argument over who has authority.
That misses what I am teaching.
God’s order places responsibility on everyone within it.
Man must remain under Jesus Christ.
Man must love and protect rather than abuse.
Woman must remain connected to God.
The child must be loved, protected and spiritually guided.
And the entire structure must remain under:
The LORD God Almighty.
Remove God, and the structure loses its foundation.
Remove Jesus from His place as Head of man, and man attempts to fulfill a spiritual assignment through his own strength.
Destroy the relationship between man and woman, and the child becomes increasingly vulnerable.
That is the progression God showed me.
Examine the Family
Do not examine this revelation merely by asking whether it agrees with modern culture.
Do not examine it merely by asking whether it agrees with religious tradition.
Take it to God.
Read Genesis 2 and 3.
Read Ephesians 5:28–33.
Examine what Scripture says about Christ, man, woman, marriage, love, protection and obedience.
Then look at the condition of families around you.
And ask:
Have we followed God’s order -or have we accepted another order?
Is Jesus Christ truly the Head?
Is man protecting what God entrusted to him?
Is woman remaining intimately connected to God?
Are children spiritually protected and guided?
And finally:
LORD, Is My Family Operating According to Your Will?
Ask Him.
Listen.
And if God reveals that something is out of order:
Do not defend the disorder.
Do not blame someone else.
Obey God.
And allow Him to restore what He intended.
